Wave Arduino Radio

This is a form experiment that makes the user question their regular interactions with a radio.

Radios have been around and standardized for decades. Inspired by waves and the movement of water, the radio tries to emulate the movements connected with the stirring of water and pouring out.

The outer ring, when triggered with the magnet, switches to different stations through the use of reed switches. The inner ring, the same way, increases the volume. To lower the volume, you simply tilt the radio as if you were pouring out water. Constructed with the use of Arduino, CNC, and 3D printing, this project allowed me to challenge myself and gain a better understanding of the tools at my disposal.
